안녕하세요 my name is Gena Deskins. I’m 16 years old and a Junior at Pickerington North High School. I will be on exchange to South Korea for my senior year and I can’t wait! I know this will be one of the greatest experiences of my life so I plan on recording and writing a lot while away. I love reading and music so I’m excited to see the books there and listen to all the new music. I currently live in Pickerington, Ohio with my Grandma, Brother, and two dogs. Finding out South Korea was the country I was going to was probably the best thing ever since it was my first choice. I’ve always wanted to go and learn about the history and experience the culture first hand and now that I get that chance I just can’t wait. This past year has been very amazing with Rotary and all the new friends I made and I’m so thankful to have gotten so many opportunities from Rotary like a scholarship and preparation for studying abroad. I’m also thankful for everyone around me who supported me and helped me get where I need to be and I really couldn’t ask for more. 안녕!
